Quick update

I just wanted to let the readers of this blog know that there’s been a death in my family. Therefore, it might be a little while before I start posting again.

Moya Apparel brings us another cool t-shirt, so I bring said t-shirt to you. Isn’t that sweet of me? Here we have a freakin’ sweet dragon design. If you like Eastern-inspired art, you’ll love this tee shirt.

In honor of the eight degree weather that I and the rest of Boise, Idaho experienced this morning, I decided that the next piece of apparel that I found on the internet would be a hooded sweatshirt. Fortunately, Ina Mar Art & Design had just what I was looking for. This shop provided a wonderful environmental design with artistic appeal. It has the word Recycle on it, with a centered green leaf attached to a spiraling vine.

Say hello to the infamous Mu-Tant Cow Pi! He’s shaped like the mathematical pi symbol, with black and white spots and a large cow head that speaks the mu symbol. Thanks to Jane Jett’s Online Store, your day just got a whole lot more surreal.

Yin Yang Snow Man

When I woke up today, the first thing I did was hop out of bed and open the blinds to see if it had snowed again last night. To my delight, a shallow but solid layer of snow had fallen in the night. This put me in the mood to find a t-shirt design with a winter theme. Fortunately, The Aum Shop is ready to deliver. They’ve got a really cool triple Yin Yang symbol stacked up to form a snowman, along with two sticks for arms. This design is made with a nice, bright blue color.

Tech Support Motto

As I mentioned before, I did have the unpleasant experience of working in tech support. In fact, many of the students that I run into at ITT Tech have jobs at nearby call centers. A person who proclaims that they are living the dream is a rare find indeed. In fact, they are most likely being sarcastic, or they’re on some kind of mood stabilizers. That’s why Tech Support Hell created this t-shirt that understands our pain. Quite simply, it states that anyone who thinks that the customer is always right never worked in tech support.

Watercolor Lotus

Storm Moon Photography brings us a beautiful abstract art design that’s called Watercolor Lotus. It’s a very symmetrical pattern, much like looking straight down into the complex fold of flower petals. It’s full of complimentary colors such as orange, red and purple that blend nicely together.

This next t-shirt has personal significance for me. My girlfriend and I started off in California, but wee moved up here to Idaho so that she could be closer to her mom. See, her mom has cancer.

Due to some uncontrollable complications my girlfriend has never had the opportunity to live close to her mom. So she is making it a point to spend as much time as she can now with her. Her mom’s cancer is unfortunately in the late stages. Though she tries to downplay how bad it is to save her family’s feelings, we’re pretty sure that it’s stage four. She needs to go to the hospital for fluids quite often, and her arm needs to be massaged almost everyday because of how hard it is getting. Her breasts are literally as hard as rocks, but they won’t do surgery because of how far the cancer has advanced; the wounds would be unable to heal if they did do surgery.

So when I came across this next t-shirt by Chucklenut Shirts, I felt very grateful that someone would take such a serious subject matter and make it funny in good taste. I showed it to my girlfriend and she really appreciated it. It’s a very retro t-shirt design, with a clipart-style picture of a lady saying “I’m making cancer my bitch!”

This watercolor style design is from a shop that just opened up called Susan Faye Originals. She has many colorful images that are perfect for nature lover and cat lovers. Though there are many designs to choose from, this one is my favorite. It’s a abstract picture of beautiful scenery at night, with mountains, trees and stars reflecting off of a river. Normally I’m not a fan of the square shape on t-shirts, but the text both above and below the design that says ‘Stargaze With Wonder’ makes this one work well.

I decided to check up on this blog’s stats, just for fun, and was quite surprised to find that there are still tons of people coming here every day! It seems like a waste of potential to just ignore it just cos WordPress won’t allow Google Adsense on it. Ironic really, as the Google search engine seems to just adore WordPress.

I do like the layout and structure of the site…oh, what the hell! I’ll go ahead and blog at both places. I’m sure I can juggle multiple blogs. I’ll just post some of the more recent entries from the other blog to get this one up to speed. See, now you have a choice.
